Over the years there have been a good many myths that have surfaced as to the way to tell how large a man's penis is without actually seeing it first hand.

This is a common thing and it has gone on for more years than most people can count. Of course one should never under take this kind of thing without first knowing all the facts that are surrounding such an issue.

The main idea is that a woman is able to tell the size of a man's penis by observing some other body part. Through the years it has changed from ear size to foot size and everything in between. Oddly enough, though most of these have been proven to be pure myth, most people still believe that they can determine a penis size with some accuracy and not have to see the penis for themselves.

This was the subject of a study where men were used to try and put an end to such myths. The study was to prove that foot size has no bearing on the size of a man's penis and there is no correlation between the two in respect to size. Well the study went off without a hitch and it was proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that the size of a man's foot has nothing to do with the size of his penis.

Strangely enough, this did nothing to deter the other myths from surfacing around the world. They simply decided to change the body part that they were thinking about. While the study did not take into account the height of the men, it did note that nothing about the size of the limbs, or ears and such had any bearing on the size of the penis.

The common theory is now that a man who is tall is going to have a long penis, because the body grows the same way, no matter what the organ or limb is. So the new theory was born and women started to believe that tall men were well endowed. While this was good news for tall men, who actually were getting far more attention then previously, the fact is that it is nothing more than fiction.

Medical knowledge tells us that the body and its many parts all develop in size on their own. So even if a person is more than seven feet tall, there is nothing to say that he is going to have a very long penis. That is just not the way that things work. In most cases, the size of the penis is determined by genetic markers, just like a person's height is determined.

On the other hand, the height of a person can become mutated, and a set of parents that are short may actually produce a giant of a child. This happens rarely and is normally the case of the penis size as well. If the parents do not lend the right penis size to the child then the genes can actually mutate and increase the length on their own. Again, this has nothing to do with the rest of the body and actually is not controlled in any manner.
